Do you have a fantastic idea for a card or party game? Now is your chance to take your game-designing skills to the next level with Play Again Games' Game. We're big into Themes, and the more creative the theme with solid game mechanics, the more likely we are to sign your game.

We welcome game designers of ALL caliber and skill level to join in on the fun of having your game come to life!

Timeline, Submission, and Communication Process 

Our Submissions are currently open! Which means you can submit your game idea without the fear of auto rejection.

• Initial Reply will take five days after the design has been submitted. An email will be sent out as soon as possible. 

• Final Reply will occur one week after the Initial Reply has been completed (after the initial reply is sent, we may request that you provide an up-to-date Print and Play copy of your game if applicable.)

• Signing opportunities will be announced one week after the Final Reply has been completed.

Component Limitations and Guidelines

We like our card games to stay... well, card games. Your submissions of a card game may only use the components listed below, unless otherwise noted.

• Less than 200 cards

• Deck Box Does not have to be provided when submitting OR other suggested container for the game.

• No Score Paper/Pen components (We can develop an app depending on the game)

• Rules (This can either be a rule Sheet, Card, or booklet)

• Special Item - Okay - (Optional) Does your concept require a special item, like a spinner, button timer, or throwable character?

• Adult specific games

• Rated "R" or Mature

• Trivia

• Board Games

• Complex games

• Games over 1 hour

Submission Requirements

For each card game submission, you will need to send the following to support@waylandentertainment.com OR use the form below.

     1. Pitch Video (5 minutes or less)

You will need to provide a link to a video about your game.  This should include examples of play and be hosted on a public domain like YouTube or Vimeo.

     2. Rules

You will need to provide a link to a complete rules document sufficient for a reader to learn to play the game. The rules can be hosted on your own site or a public domain like Dropbox or Google Drive.

     3. Game Description

Must Include

- Suggested Game Title

- Player Count

- Estimated Play Time

- Recommended Ages (if any), and

- Brief Description of the gameplay "Back Of Box Description."

- Theme (if any).

- Your Contact Information. (First, Last Name, Address, Phone Number, Preferred Email Address)

Additional Restrictions

Designs must be original works that do not infringe on any intellectual property. All submissions must not be publicly available through any retail, secondary, or print-on-demand market (like Game Crafter) and may not be currently under consideration for publication by other publishers.

Designers must be *18 years or older to enter. *Parents may submit on behalf of their children.

We understand that your design may not be the final artwork or graphics; however your prototype/mockup should be complete enough to by played and usable. All designs remain the intellectual property of the designers.

*A Publication deal is subject to release within 16 months of the signed game. Many factors can influence the creation and completion of a game. All Games will go through a Kickstarter round before the next steps are taken on the game. (IF) The game does not fund during the Kickstarter; then, a private seed round will take place to fund the game. (IF) The game does not get published, then all rights of the game are relinquished back to you after 16 months of the signed date.
